We use radio to amplify youth voices across Africa, giving them the skills and tools to speak about their lives
This week on the Radio Workshop, our weekly podcast, we hear a story about stories!
Stories are the thread that weaves us all together. They’re magical and transformative and they’re important for our development in every way. Nal’ibali knows this and works very hard at its national campaign to make reading enjoyable and fun. The NGO hosted a Read Aloud day at libraries across South Africa. The Children’s Radio Foundation attended one in Cape Town, where author Wendy Hartmann read her tale of “How Stories Began.” We also discovered an enthusiastic, insightful crowd of young book lovers. Take a listen!
