We use radio to amplify youth voices across Africa, giving them the skills and tools to speak about their lives
Last Saturday was World Water Day. We took the opportunity to record an episode of the Radio Workshop, our weekly podcast, on access to water in South Africa.
While access to basic services has increased in the country in the last 20 years, access to safe water in the home is still a major challenge for many South Africans. The Radio Workshop took a trip out to Khayelitsha township in Cape Town and spoke to two young women who share their experiences of living with and without water, and reflect on water as an essential part of daily life.
