We use radio to amplify youth voices across Africa, giving them the skills and tools to speak about their lives
“On Saturday 12th April, fifteen Manenberg youth reporters went up Table Mountain for the very first time. Scorching temperatures didn’t wilt their spirits and the excitement of towering 1085m above their city was an invigorating perspective.
Since radio is among the things they do best, the young reporters captured it all on their audio recorders, from cable car, to picnic, to the flora and fauna lesson. The Children’s Radio Foundation is grateful to the Table Mountain National Park, Aaniyah Omardien and everyone else who made this adventure possible!
