COSAT students interview customers at a coffee shop in Khayelitsha

For close to a year CRF has been in partnership with PRI’s The World reporter Anders Kelto. We’ve been training a group of amazing young students at the Centre of Science and Technology (COSAT), a public high school in Cape Town.

Part of the training took them on a journey through their community, Khayelitsha, and spaces or places they occupy. They chose to produce an audio postcard radio feature on two places in their community – a coffee shop and a day care centre.

PRI’s The World featured the work we’ve been doing with them. Find out more about Andres’ experience at the school and listen to the audio postcards produced by the COSAT youth reporters on PRI’s The World website.
