We use radio to amplify youth voices across Africa, giving them the skills and tools to speak about their lives
The 19th International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA) begins today in Abidjan, Ivory Coast! Youth reporters from Ivory Coast, Zambia, the DRC and South Africa come together to provide live coverage from our pop-up radio station at the conference.
With the support of UNICEF Zambia, UNICEF Cote d’Ivoire, our 12 youth reporters are hosting discussions and debates about HIV prevention, youth-friendly services and navigating treatment and care. They will speak to to experts, researchers and specialists during this week, and attend sessions and discussions, and bring their unique adolescent perspective.
